This policy explains what happens to information you give us through this website. It describes what the site actually does today, and we will update it — and change the date above — whenever that changes.

Who we are

What we collect

One thing: what you type into the enquiry form on this website. That is your name, your email address, your phone number if you give one, and your message.

We do not ask for anything else, and the form does not collect anything you cannot see on it.

What this website does not do

This is unusual enough to be worth stating plainly. As of the date above, this website:

• sets no cookies of any kind

• runs no analytics and no session recording

• loads nothing from any other company — no fonts, no scripts, no advertising pixels, no embedded video

• does not record your IP address alongside your enquiry

We expect to add analytics and advertising tools as the business grows. When we do, this page will say so before they go live, and it will name them.

Server records

Our hosting provider keeps ordinary web server records — the address of the page requested, the time, and the network address it came from — as every web host does. We use these only to keep the site running and secure. We do not combine them with your enquiry.

What we do with your enquiry

We use it to reply to you and to talk about work you might want done. If you enquire, we may also send you occasional emails about what we do. Every one of those has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing does not affect a reply to something you asked us directly.

How long we keep it

One year from your last contact with us, if you do not become a client. If you do become a client, we keep it for as long as we work together and for as long afterwards as our records and tax obligations require. You can ask us to delete it sooner.

Where it is held

In Canada. Our database and our email delivery both run in Canadian data centres. The companies that provide our hosting, database and email are service providers acting on our instructions, and they may be reached from outside Canada for support and maintenance.

Who else sees it

Nobody, unless the law requires it. We do not sell information, we do not trade it, and we do not pass it to advertisers.

Our clients’ information

We work for home service businesses, and that work involves their customers’ information. We use it only to do the job we were hired for. We name a client, show their website, or describe their results only if that client has agreed to it.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. Write to admin@grwthmedia.ca and we will answer within thirty days.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a privacy question, you can raise it with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
