Terms of Service

Contractor desk with a phone, call notes and lead charts

Last updated: 10 September 2026.

These terms cover the use of this website and the services GRWTH Media provides. Where you have a signed agreement or a written quote from us, that document governs the work and these terms fill the gaps around it.

Who we are

GRWTH Media Inc., 3724 141 Ave NW, Edmonton, Alberta T5Y 0E3, Canada. Contact: admin@grwthmedia.ca.

Using this website

You may read this site and get in touch through it. Please do not attempt to interfere with it, test its security without asking, or use it to send anything unlawful.

What we do

We build and run websites, marketing and the software that supports them, for home service businesses. What we will do for you, what it costs, and when it is paid are set out in your own agreement or quote — not here.

The website we build for you

You own your website. If we stop working together, we will provide the site to you as a folder of files you can host anywhere.

One thing to understand before you rely on that. Your website is built to run on the GRWTH platform, and parts of it work because they are connected to it — the enquiry forms, the publishing, the blog editor and anything that reads your business records. Taken off the platform, the pages remain yours and remain readable, but those parts stop working until you replace them. We will tell you which parts those are when you ask.

Advertising accounts

This depends on your agreement, and it is worth settling in writing at the start rather than at the end. In some engagements the advertising accounts are yours, opened in your name, and they stay with you. In others we open and hold the account ourselves and run your advertising through it. Which of those applies to you is stated in your agreement.

Where the account is ours, the campaign history and the audiences built inside it stay with that account. If that matters to you, ask for accounts in your own name before we begin.

You provide the advertising budget that is spent on your ads — on Google, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and other platforms — and we use it to run your advertising.

Your material

Photographs, logos, text and anything else you give us stay yours. By giving them to us you confirm you have the right to use them, and you allow us to use them to do the work — including publishing them on your website.

We will not name you as a client, show your website as an example, or describe your results publicly unless you agree to it.

Confidentiality

We keep your business information private. What you share with us while we work together — your customer details, your numbers, your account access — is used to do the work and is not shared with anyone else. In the same way, we ask you to keep private anything of ours we share with you that is not public.

What we do not promise

We do not guarantee a particular position in search results, a number of enquiries, or a level of sales. Those depend on your market, your pricing, your capacity and how quickly you answer the phone, as well as on our work. We will tell you what we expect and we will show you what actually happened.

We also depend on companies we do not control — Google, Meta, and the platforms your customers use. They change their rules and their prices, and they can suspend an account. We will deal with it when they do, but we cannot promise they will not.

Ending the work

Either of us can end an ongoing engagement with notice, as set out in your agreement. Work already done and costs already committed on your behalf are payable. We will hand over what is yours, as described above.

Liability

We are responsible for doing our work with reasonable skill and care. We are not liable for lost profits or indirect losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of Alberta have jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed, and a change does not alter an agreement already signed.
